Special Needs Camps/Activites
City of College Station
The challenger sports series is to provide programming throughout the year for children with special needs.
Understanding that these children would have limitations that would probably not allow them to gain the success desired through existing programs, the Parks & Recreation has developed a year around series that is scheduled to include Soccer, Basketball and Bowling. The desire is to provide for those who want to learn basic fundamentals of athletic activities, have fun, improve physical skills, experience success and feel special in a safe and controlled environment.

Using a Texas Ranch environment, our goal is to enable our campers to experience an inspiring, activity filled, summer camp while building a better relationship with Jesus Christ. We utilize volunteers who desire the opportunity to assist and encourage our campers, especially in creating friendships that will help each other grow spiritually. Kingdom Ranch depends mainly on donations from giving hearts that appreciate our purpose and would like to help construct and carry on our mission.

Star Ranch
Star Ranch is similar to other camps in the fact that we teach Christian values, and offer many other fun activities. The similarities end there. Star Ranch is geared specifically to deal with children that have multiple learning disabilities. Our focus is on building self-confidence, experience, and independence in children. Most campers have learning disabilities, attention difficulties, hyperactivity, cognitive development, or they are developmentally delayed.
